Enhanced Suggest Links Always Asks Users to Accept or Reject the Link in PromoMats & MedComms

Question:

The Enhanced Suggest Links feature always asks users to Accept or Reject the link even in case of an exact text match.  Is this working as designed?

Answer:

According to the help article Using Auto Claims Linking,
  • Suggested Links means when users click the Suggest Links button on a document, Vault generates Suggested Links that users must review and accept or reject.
  • Auto Links means when users click the Suggest Link button on a document, Vault generates Auto Links for exact text matches, which do not require review or approval.

This is expected behavior. The Enhanced suggest links ignore stop words so more items show up as suggestions rather than exact matches. 

Hence, the Enhanced suggested links ask users to Accept or Reject the link no matter whether it is an exact text match or not.
