What can cause the following error?
The current Vault in Vault File Manager does not match the Vault where the check out action occurred.
Please switch to the correct Vault to see the checked out file, and open it manually.
Note: Auto Open only works if the correct Vault is selected in Vault File Manager at the time the document is checked out.
The following should be checked:
- As the error states, users should make sure that the correct Vault is selected in VFM when a checkout is initiated from Vault
- In case the user has multiple accounts, they should try logging into the correct account in VFM first, then logging into Vault and selecting check-out
- Users should set the display in the Business Admin menu in Vault to show the VFM File Security Policy object, and check whether any file extensions are missing, or are set to inactive
Note: In addition, users need to make sure that the latest version of VFM is installed at all times
