CRM Hyperlink URL is Not Working if Clicked from a Related List Offline

Question:

CRM for iPad supports hyperlink formula fields. The HYPERLINK() function in formula fields is used to create links to specified URLs. These links are used in CRM for iPad (to launch websites) and iPad apps with registered custom URL schemes.  Why are hyperlink formula fields not functioning when clicked from a related list?

Answer:

This is a limitation of iRep and is working as designed.  A hyperlink formula field is not clickable from a related list.
