Question:
How can an Account be searched using a partial match in CRM iRep? For example, ABC can be used to search for the Account: MedicalHospitalABC.
Answer:
There is a Veeva Setting Advanced Search to allow this. With Advanced Search enabled, users can search for an Account. However, the syntax operates differently. Users can only search an exact string match on a Formatted name.
- Navigate to: Setup --> Develop --> Custom Settings --> Veeva Settings --> Advanced Search.
- Disable this option.
- Clear Veeva cache.
- Sync iRep to enable a partial match for the Account search.
