How can Lookup Filters be configured to Restrict Data Based on User's Profile in CRM iRep?
Answer:
Lookup filters are Administrator settings that restrict the valid values and lookup dialog results for Lookup,
Master-Detail, and Hierarchical Relationship fields.
CRM iRep supports Lookup filters that are specified by User Profile ID or User Profile Name through the Lookup filter dialog.
Note:
If using Profile ID, the end-user requires access to query ProfileId on the User object. This visibility is controlled by the View Setup and Configuration Administrative Permission.
If using Profile Name, the end-user requires access to query Profile_Name_vod__c on the User object. This visibility is controlled by Field-Level Security (FLS).
