Question:
Approved Email Custom Settings can be set on the organization, profile or user level. Why are the Approved Email Custom Settings not working on Online or offline when setting it on the user level?
Answer:
To Set Approved Email Custom Settings on the user level do the following:
- Navigate to: SetUp --> Develop --> Custom Settings --> the Manage link besides Approved Email Settings --> New.
- Set Location to the user and assign a specific user to the field.
Currently, the behavior is expected.
Generally, the Approved Email feature is not used for an individual user. There is no need to set Approved Email Custom Settings on the user level. But as a workaround, different profiles can be assigned to different users. In this case, set Approved Email Settings for a specific profile.
