Question:
Why are unprocessed Data Change Requests not displayed in the My Alerts section Offline?
Answer:
By default, the Data Change Request object has the following Where Clause in the Vmobile Object Configuration (VMOC) settings: Where Account_vod__c in (select Id from Account).
This means only those Data Change Requests (DCRs) are forwarded to offline devices which have each corresponding Account created with a specific SFDC ID. If the Data Change Request Mode in Veeva Settings is set to 1, the Account only gets created once the DCR is approved and processed.
When the Data Change Request Mode in Veeva Settings is set to 2, an unverified Account is created along with the Data Change Request. This means it receives an ID immediately while meeting the requirements of the Where Clause. As a result, these Data Change Requests are forwarded to offline devices and appear in My Alerts.
