Question:

How many documents can be stored in a Vault?

Answer:

The number of documents stored in Vault is based on the actual number of documents saved. It is not determined by the amount of storage available.

Example: The screenshot below shows License Information.  293 Vault documents have been created. The maximum number of documents that can be added to the Vault in this example is 250,000. License information shows utilization by the number of documents created compared to the total number of documents possible in the Vault. The number of document versions is not included in this limit of 250,000 documents. The License Information does not indicate the amount of storage space available.

To determine how many document licenses are available, navigate to Admin --> Settings --> General Settings. The number of document licenses available is indicated, as well as other license information regarding Vault.
