Question:
A Health Care Organization (HCO) merge is performed in Veeva Network. Network Address Inheritance (NAI) is enabled. Why does the loser HCO's child Health Care Professional (HCP) inherit the loser HCO's address?
Answer:
When performing an HCO merge in Network, the HCP's Parent is re-pointed to the winner HCO. But Network system does not rerun NAI rules simultaneously.
Only when an update (Example: Data Change Request) is made to the child HCP, the Network system runs the NAI rules and it updates the copied Address.
This is the current product behavior.
