The New button is visible when a user opens a custom or standard view and it may be used to initiate Network Account Search (NAS), as shown in the screenshot below:
However, the New button is not visible when the user opens a list:
What is the reason behind this difference? Does the user need any further settings or permissions to be able to see the button?
This is working as designed for both the Online and Offline applications. The New button is only visible when a user opens a view. It is not visible when a list is opened in the My Accounts tab.
