Why is the option of where to save a checked out document not available?
Enhanced Checkout is enabled in the Vault. This option is enabled at Admin --> Settings --> Checkout Settings.
One advantage of using the Enhanced Checkout feature is it prevents the document from being lost in a user's computer. Vault saves the document to a specific location in the user's computer and retrieves it from the same location when the document is checked back in.
