Overview:
The user is not able to see a User Task that is available for selection in an active workflow.
Root Cause:
The user did not have View Document permissions in the current lifecycle state of the affected document, as those permissions are not assigned until after the user accepts the available User Task.
Solution:
The solution is to assign the user's current lifecycle role the View Document permission in the document's current lifecycle state so that they can view and accept the available User Task.
For any workflow User Task, the user is placed into the Viewer role initially before being placed in the assigned Lifecycle role (based on the User Task configuration) when they accept the User Task. This is done in order to prevent the user from having more document-level permissions than necessary when accepting the User Task.
