Question:
A user initiates a Call from the Account Detail Page by clicking on the Record a Call button. Planned Status is not set as default:
If a customer schedules a Call under My Schedule, Planned Status is set as default:
How can Planned Status be set as default also for Calls initiated from the Account Detail Page?
Answer:
Planned Status needs to be set as the default value on the Status field for the Call Record Type used by the customer.
- Navigate to: Setup --> Create --> Call.
- Scroll down to the Record Types section.
- Click on the Record Type Label used by the customer.
- Click on Edit to modify the Status field.
- Set the Planned as default value and click on Save:
