Question:

How to remove the New Order button from the Account Page on CRM for iPad?

Answer:

There is no master setting to remove the button for all Accounts. To achieve this, set the value of the No_Order_vod field to Yes_vod on each Account record for which the orders are restricted.

NOTE:

  • If the Account records are updated with Data Loader, it is important to set the value correctly either to Yes_vod or to No_vod.
  • Removing the Orders Related List from the Account page layout hides the New Order button Online, but does not hide the button Offline.
