Overview:

While adding a network code by reference data import, the following error appears in the Error logs: [Network code] [reference data] The value [reference value] is already in use for reference [Network code] and language [coutry code]. Network values must be unique for a given reference type and language.

Root Cause:

There are duplicated translation values in the import file.

The Network system does not allow the same localized translations for different codes to be used in the same reference type. It does not matter if it is enabled for a Country or not.

Every time file is uploaded, the Network system verifies every row in the file.

For example, as in the screenshot, the reference value of EN is the same.
