When clicking on the Map button from the Account detail page, the Address that appears does not point to the correct location. The Apple Map Integration is different than if the user enters the Address into Apple Map app on the device.
The Apple Maps API is using the following Address fields for plotting:
- City_vod, State_vod
- Zip_vod, Zip_4_vod
The issue is that the Apple Maps API is not able to plot those Addresses correctly because one part of the Address is throwing off the Address plotting.
Please note that the Apple Map app and the Apple Maps API do not use the same plotting logic.
When the Apple Maps feature is enabled, Veeva Support recommends that customers configure addresses with Latitude and Longitude values for addresses. When this is not available, Veeva CRM on iPad tries to fetch the values using Apple Maps API.
