What does Internal system error encountered mean for Submissions Archive import?
When importing Submissions Archive records into Vault there are a few different errors that can occur. Most have actual error messages letting the user know what is wrong. However, the Internal system error encountered message is very generic currently.
This error generally means that a field is required on the Submissions Archive Document Type. This is usually the Product field or the Country field.
A Best Practice is to share the fields with specific Document Types, instead of the Base Document Type. This ensures the required fields do not get put on the Submissions Archive Document Type.
Note: The standard system Name__v field is the exception as it cannot be optional.
