Question:
How to setup a Veeva Message to be used for a specific profile?
Answer:
A profile-specific Veeva Setting can be updated to use its own Veeva Message. Veeva Settings which point to Veeva Messages use following the format: <Veeva Message Name>;;<Veeva Message Category>.
- Clone a Veeva Message, updating the Message Name so it is unique to the profile.
- Update the Veeva Setting specific for the Profile to use the new Message Name. The Category should be the same.
- Clear Veeva Cache.
Example:
Call disclaimers use the Veeva Message setting Disclaimer Call Acknowledgement: DISCLAIMER_CALL_ACK;;CallReport
- Clone the OOB Veeva Message as DISCLAIMER_CALL_ACK_SALESREP.
- Update the Profile specific Veeva Setting to DISCLAIMER_CALL_ACK_SALESREP;;CallReport.
