Question:
Why does an address get deleted by the Network Admin User, even though the FILTER_INACTIVE_NETWORK_RECORDS_VOD and the NETWORK_ADDRESS_DELETION_PROCESS_VOD in Network Settings are set in a way that only inactive Child Accounts get deleted?
Answer:
This is due to the Address Inheritance feature. If a Parent Account is added to the selected Child Account, users are able to import the parent account's address with the Copy Address feature. If an address is created in such a way, it is controlled by the Child Account record.
Therefore, when a Child Account becomes inactive, it is deleted because of the settings mentioned above. As a result, the addresses controlled by this Child Account record are deleted as well.
