How to request a Physical Delete on an org?
Occasionally, it is necessary to do a data purge that removes all references to older or unused data from Salesforce. When this happens, a Physical Delete request needs to be submitted. To do this, open a ticket with Veeva Support. In order for Support to process this request, the following information is required:
1. Confirmation that the Recycle Bin is emptied for the Org.
2. The admin account is granted Salesforce Support login access for one week.
3. The 18-digit Org ID and the Org Name.
4. A bulleted list of objects that the Physical Delete is to run against.
Note: Physical Delete requests can vary greatly in the amount of time needed to complete. Processing time can be affected by the: Number of objects, Number of records to be deleted, Number ofPhysical Delete requests being processed, Availability of processing resources, etc.
Veeva Support notifies the requestor that the Physical Delete is completed by updating the Support ticket.
