Question:
A User Task-related field is visible on the main User Tasks page, however the field is not visible in the Filters section. The following screenshot presents an example where the Assigned To filter is visible for a Vault Owner in the Filters section. However, it is not visible for users having the Business Support custom Security Profile.
Why is it that a user cannot filter by a User Object field in Vault?

To filter by a User object field, a user's Security Profile needs a specific permission enabled. From the associated Permission Set, a Vault admin can enable this permission by navigating to the Application Tab and selecting the option for Search --> User Filters. This permission allows a user to filter documents and object records using fields that contain one or more users.
