Question:
When recording Opt Out, users prompted for a Consent Signature. How can this requirement be dropped?
Answer:
The following steps should be taken to prevent this requirement:
- Grant FLS access to the field Signature_Required_On_Opt_Out_vod to the Consent admin and the end-user.
- Ensure that Signature_Required_On_Opt_Out_vod is unchecked on the Consent Header record.
- Clear the Veeva Cache and perform a database refresh on the offline device.
This will allow Signature/Paper Consent ID on opting in, but not when opting out.
