A user Admin notices the training status for some users shows Trained. However, there is no training completion date for some of their required courses. The course status shows not complete.
Why is the user training status changed to Trained while required courses are not completed?

Below are the possible reasons for this issue:

Users need to be assigned to the role before training curriculums map to this role. When assigning users to a role before curriculums are mapped to this role, the System automatically marks the training status of these users as Trained. This is done since there is no training needed at that point. Vault does not perform enrollment reconciliations for Trained users. Thus, user training status remains in Trained even if the curriculums and courses map to that role later.

Curriculums and courses are added after the user completes the assigned Training.
- Users already complete the same curriculums on another study role. Users need to complete training for new roles only if new roles map to a different curriculum.
