Question:
How does the Subject Progress Listing Exactly Display the "Most Recent Event Column" in CDMS Vault?
Answer:
In Data Entry, we have two ways of sorting the schedule tree: by schedule or by event.
The schedule-based tree doesn't look at the event date to sort the visits but instead at the way the study is designed, which is why you'll see Unscheduled visits at the bottom of the tree, even though their event date is before some of the other visits. (See the screenshot below, where the Unscheduled visits are placed at the bottom of the schedule tree).
The schedule-based sorting is the default we use when displaying the tree and when displaying the Last Event / Next Event in the list of casebooks for a site.
The Subject progress listing uses the same sorting by schedule to determine the "most recent event". Technically, it displays the "most recent planned event".
