Question:
When attempting to Selectively Create Claims through a User Action in the Veeva Claims application, users receive an email notification with the subject line "Notification: Bulk Create Claims Job Failed" and an email body that simply states, "If the issue persists, contact your Vault Administrator". What is causing this failure?
This error may also surface in the UI as a dialogue window that states, "Unfortunately, record action failed to create records. Try Again."
Answer:
A required field on the Claims object does not have a Default Value configured. As such, when Vault (as System) attempts to generate a new Claim record it fails as there is a required field that does not have a value.
As an example, some environments may be configured such that "Translation Required?" is a required field.
In this scenario, providing a Default Value for this or any other custom fields that are required on the Claims object should resolve the issue.
