Why don't Non-English Date Formats appear on Date Items in Studies in CDMS Vaults?
Answer:
Currently, this is Working as Designed: data in the "Date and time collection" items will follow the user's locale language settings, who enter the date.
For example, if the user has a Chinese locale:
If the user has a Spanish locale:
As the site users have non-English locales and select non-English months from the date picker. After they select a date, we store that date in the locale they entered. We are not able to change this data, as it was entered by the site.
If the sponsor would like all dates in the study to appear in English, then all users' locales will need to be updated to English.
Once updated, the site users will need to re-enter the existing dates using the English date picker. Please note: They'll need to first select a different and then select the intended date in order to save the date in English.
This behavior might be subject to change in the future.
