How to Change the Field Type of an Existing Field in Veeva Network?
In order to change the field type of an existing field in Network, do the following:
- Run a Target Subscription to back up the field values, that are currently in Network, to a .csv file.
- Run a Source Subscription to clear the field values that are currently in Network.
- Open a ticket with Veeva (Network) Support to change the field’s data type to the desired type. Please describe in this ticket that there is no data in the specified field.
- Run a Source Subscription using the .csv file generated in Step 1.
