Question:
Why does the Alphabar not appear in iPad/iPhone CRM?
Answer:
The Alphabar was temporarily removed in 22R3.0. The Alphabar will not display for devices using iPad/iPhone CRM versions from 223.0.200 to 223.3.400. The Alphabar was returned to MyAccounts list in 23R1.0.
The device language needs to match the SFDC user language. The Alphabar will only display for the following supported languages:
- Bulgarian
- Japanese
- Chinese (Simplified)
- Korean
- Chinese (Traditional)
- Portuguese (Brazil)
- Czech
- Polish
- Danish
- Romanian
- Dutch
- Russian
- English
- Slovak
- Finnish
- Spanish
- French
- Spanish (Mexico)
- German
- Swedish
- Greek
- Thai
- Hungarian
- Turkish
- Indonesian
- Ukrainian
- Italian
- Vietnamese
To display the Alphabar, FLS Read permission to Account.Alternate_Name_vod__c and Child_Account_vod__c.Alternate_Name_vod__c is required.
The Alphabar displays only if there are two or more letters representing index sections of grouped accounts.
