Overview:
Back To List: <Object Name> Displays an Incorrect List Name.
Root Cause:
This is working as designed.
Solution:
The Back to List link appears on any detail page in Salesforce.com (SFDC) after a user clicks on any list view in Salesforce.com. If the user does not run list views, the link does not appear on the record detail page. However, the Back to List link is not related to the detail page. It is linked to the most recent list view that is clicked.
Example: A user runs the account view, called My Accounts, and clicks into one of the records shown. This results in the user seeing a link, called Back to List: Account at the top of the Account Detail page. This is because the last view ran was an Account-type view. The user clicks on the Back to List: Accounts link located at the top of the record detail page. It takes the user back to the last view, which in this case, is: My Accounts.
