Overview:
In CRM iRep and occasionally in SFDC a user will see dates being reported as a year that is 543 years later than the current year.
Root Cause:
The Buddhist Calendar is 543 years ahead of the Gregorian calendar. In SFDC the user's locale is set to Thai. On the user's iPad the user's region is set to Thailand and the user's calendar is set to Buddhist.
Solution:
Veeva CRM does not support the Buddhist calendar on any platform.
To bring everything in sync:
- Change the user locale to English (United States).
- Change the user Region on iPad to United States. Navigate to: Settings --> General --> Language and Region.
- Change the user calendar on iPad to Gregorian. Navigate to: Settings --> General --> Language and Region.
- Perform a Database refresh.
