Question:
What is the Approved Email behavior when a Vault server is down?
Answer:
The email is not sent when a Vault server is down.
The sent email record has Status = Failed. The Status Details field is populated with the reason (Could not authenticate against Vault).
Note: This is a temporary fail. Once the vault is running, the email is processed and sent. This occurs when the Veeva Process Scheduler job for Approved Email runs.
