How to upload Approved Email fragment Asset images using the Vault API?

Answer:

Asset files are a series of files that are used in the corresponding Approved Email fragment's HTML code.  These files are usually loaded into a .zip file.  The file is added to the Assets section in the document properties of the corresponding Approved Email fragment in the Vault User Interface.  

To accomplish this using the Vault API, image files to be used as Assets for Approved Email fragments can be loaded as renditions.
