A document is appearing in two locations within a binder. For example: the document appears at the root level and in the section in which it was expected to auto-file. Why are there duplicate documents in the Vault binder?
A document is created while editing the binder at the root level. This means the document is manually added to the root section of the binder in addition to being auto-filed to its proper section.
Investigate the audit log. If there are two entries where the document is being linked to the binder (one created by a user and one created by the system), this means that the user manually added the document to the binder at the root level.
To avoid this, the document should be added outside the binder. The expectation is that it auto-files into the binder once created. If created within the binder, select the specific section to upload the file (not at the root).
