Overview:

Error: Document Not Found - when a user searches a Vault document using the document name.

Root Cause:

Users must have permission to view documents based on either the user type (e.g. Document User, System Admin, External User) or a specific role on the document.

Solution:

If the user does not have View permission on the document, it is unable to be viewed. The document is not shown in a search or in the library. It produces the error: Document Not Found.

Vault Owners can see every document.
