Question:
When does CRM Terminal Distributor of Dangerous Drugs (TDDD) Sample Validation begin?
Answer:
The TDDD license validation follows the same pattern as the Veeva Application use for state license validation.
Validate license is valid on Sign (Offline platforms) or on Submit (all platforms with a paper card number).
If Enable Samples on Sign Save is enabled, then this validation occurs on Save if a signature is captured or a paper card number is entered.
If Enable Samples on Save is enabled, then a signature or paper card number is required to save the Call. The validation occurs on Save, but a signature or paper card number is still required.
There is no scenario today in which state licenses or TDDD licenses are validated on saving WITHOUT a signature or paper card number.
*The exception to this is for controlled substance sampling, which does occur on saving without a signature or paper card number.
