What is PDF with Annotations in Vault PromoMats and Medical?

Answer:

PDF with Annotations is one of the download options:

PDF with Annotations allows the user to download the current version of a document (in PDF format) with all annotations made on the content. However, this feature does not include anchor annotations in the downloaded file.

Note: With the 21R2 release, Vault at times does not display the option to download PDF with Annotations in the Download Options dropdown menu which is located in the Action Bar of the document.

In order for the download 'PDF with Annotations' option to appear in the Download Options dropdown menu, PDF with Annotations needs to be downloaded from the All Document search page.
