Question:

How to import document links from one document to another in Vault PromoMats and Medical?

Answer:

To import document links, you must have the Edit Relationships permission on the document you are importing document links to and the View Document permission on the document you are importing document links from.

To import document links, please follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the document where the annotations will be imported.

2. From the All Actions menu, select Import Document Links.
   
   
   
   

3. On Import from selected document dialogue, select the target document to import the document links from.  You can enter the document number or scroll through the list to find the document.
   
   
   
   
4. Once the document has been found, click the green (+) symbol. 
   
   
   
   
5. Click Continue.
   
   
   
   

All references from the selected document appear in the Linked Documents section.

The Annotate and Edit Relationships permissions are required to manually link imported references to the content of the document.
