Question:
What is the difference between Any User and Every User when starting a workflow in Vault PromoMats and Medical?
Answer:
Vault allows Workflow Initiators to select Any User or Every User when assigning a task if configured on the Workflow Task step.
- Selecting Every User creates a separate task for each assigned user in the role. Every user must complete their task before Vault considers the workflow step completed and moves to the next step.
- Selecting Any User creates a single task and sends it to be accepted by any user assigned to the role. Once a user accepts the task, no other user can accept or complete it unless the current task owner undoes the acceptance.
In the Timeline View, a task assigned to Every User will be indicated by a single-user icon, while a task assigned to Any User will be indicated by a multi-user icon.
