Question:

How to add a notification step to a legacy workflow in PromoMats?

Answer:

A notification step can be configured by a user with Admin rights only.

To create the required step, an Admin should open the Configuration tab:

1. Navigate to Document Lifecycles.
   
   
   
   
2. Select the relevant Lifecycle. 
   
3. Open the Legacy Workflows tab. 
   
   
   
   
4. Select the relevant workflow.
   
5. Click on the + symbol where the notification should be configured.
   
   
   
   
6. Type the name into the Label field.
   
   
   
   
7. Click on the Placeholder.
   
   
   
   
8. Click Edit.
   
9. Change Type to Notification and select the Message Template and Recipients.
   
   
   
   
10. Click Save.
