How to access the Audit Trail of a document in Vault PromoMats and Vault Medical?

Answer:

Vault provides a robust Audit Trail of all actions performed on a document. except Annotations which are not captured. Vault also allows users to export this information for reporting and filtering at a more granular level.

To view the Audit Trail, View Document permission is needed.  User without permission to View or Export Audit trails need to contact their Administrator.

To access the Audit Trail, please use the following steps:

1. Navigate to the document
2. From the All Actions menu, select Audit Trail. 
   
   
   
   
3. The Audit Trail information displays in a window. Actions appear in most recent to least recent order.
   
   
4. To download the Audit Trail, click the Action menu and select an Export option. Note that the exported file has different columns than the audit trail window.
   
   
   
   
5. When finished, click Close.
