What permission is needed to use Upload New Version of a Vault document?
Answer:
The Upload New Version option for documents is based on the Lifecycle state security.
Please ensure that the role that the business owner has on the document is Edit Document permissions for the specific Lifecycle state that the document is in.
Please note that if a user has the Edit Document permission in the document's current lifecycle state, the Enable Upload New Version setting must be enabled in the Admin settings of the affected environment. Otherwise, these users will need to check the document out and check it back in to upload a new version of the document.
