When a user is downloading Account records as an Excel file, an error displays: A system error has occurred and Veeva Systems has been notified. Please try again.
This error occurs because there is a field which does not exist but is defined in the column.
This error also occurs if there is at least one account that has a name longer than 255 characters. This is due to an Excel limitation.
To correct the error, do the following:
- Remove the column from Account View or change the account name.
- Clear Veeva Cache.
