What are Lifecycle States in PromoMats?
Answer:
Lifecycle States represent the progress a document makes through a particular lifecycle (Draft, Review, Approve, Archive for example). Each Lifecycle State has its own permissions depending on what role a user is in. This defines what a user can and cannot do (such as annotating or adding attachments for example).
You can see what Lifecycle State a document is in by looking at the label next to the title of a document as pictured above.
