Question:
Why does a CRM Validation Rule Work Online but Not Offline?
Answer:
There are a number of possible root causes for this issue:
- Offline Validation Rule functionality not configured
- Object does not have an Active VMOC for the offline platform
- Refresh Validation Rule Data button has not been clicked after changing online validation rule
- End-user does not have read Field-Level Security (FLS) to a field referenced in the rule
- Unsupported area or field
