Overview:

Upon accessing the Cycles tab in the Targeting tab or the Rules Tab in the Vault View, the following error message appears:

Vault Error: Insufficient privileges to perform the action : [Permission: read] is expected

Answer:

The error occurs when the Align end-user is missing the necessary permissions.

Apart from all Multichannel Cycle Plan (MCCP) related objects and fields, the user needs at least read permission to the Object Life Cycles field from the Admin tab.

1. Navigate to: Business Admin View (Admin) --> Users & Groups --> Permission Sets --> [Security Profile] --> Admin Tab.
2. Click on Edit.
3. Be sure there is a checkmark in the Read Column next to Object Lifecycles.
4. Click on Save.
