What are the steps to setup CLM FTP access in CRM?
Answer:
- Log into Veeva CRM as an Administrator.
- Navigate to page layouts for the user’s object.
- Ensure the Content_Admin_vod__c field is on the layout.
- Click Save.
- Edit the user record of the user that should have FTP credentials and select the box for Content Admin.
- Click Save.
- Clear Veeva Cache.
- Log in to the FTP server (using an FTP client) with that users’ credentials, from step 5.
- Gather the FTP Server info from Veeva Common Settings
- Navigate to: Setup --> Develop --> Custom Settings --> Manage (Veeva Common) --> Main.
- User: Veeva CRM User name
- Password: Veeva CRM Password
