How to Replace a Workflow Owner in Vault?
Answer:
Users with Workflow Owner permissions can replace a Workflow Owner in an active multi-document workflow.
- Go to the Timeline View to find the active workflow.
- From the workflow’s menu, choose Replace Workflow Owner.
- In the dialog, select a user to replace the current workflow owner. Only users with permissions to start this type of workflow are available as replacement owners.
- Click Continue.
Note: Changing the Workflow Owner does not change the Task assignee.
Tasks assigned to Workflow Owners who are unavailable can be reassigned using the option Replace Participant. See more below under Related Documentation.
