Question:
When a User report is created and needs to obtain information about which user creates a particular user, the Created by Field shows System for all records. Why does System appear in the Created By column?
Answer:
Users created through the Users&Groups Tab always appear as having been created by System.
In order to be able to discern who creates Users, the Users Object should be used in the UI. Another option is to utilize the API to update the Object.
To enable this, do the following:
- Navigate to: Admin --> Configuration --> Object --> User.
- Enable Display in Business Admin menu.
