Is it possible to change the name of the Multi Channel Cycle Plan (MCCP) record in Veeva CRM? Does this action have any impact on Veeva CRM and Veeva Align?
Answer:
This action is not recommended.
In CRM and Align, the change of the MCCP record name does not affect the MCCP functionality in general, including calculations.
However, once any of the fields of the related MC Cycle Plan target record in Align is modified in any way, Align pushes the entire record out to CRM regardless of the status of the MC Cycle Plan record. This will result in overwriting the existing and corresponding MCCP records in CRM.
