After updating the lifecycle of an Align cycle, a job terminates unexpectedly and the following error appears: CYCLE_LIFECYCLE_UPDATE: Lifecycle update exception: NullPointerException.
The issue is due to a login expiration or incorrect credentials of the Align integration user.
(Note: not the CRM Integration user).
- Correct the credentials, if necessary, and validate the user in the Integrations --> Align Integrations tab.
- If needed, revise the password expiration settings with the help of the Vault Help Documentation and Knowledge Article (added below).
